| Text | ORANGE BLOSSOMS. Felicitations poured in on Mr. J. McGrath, of Spring Hill, and Miss A. J. Rapley, on the occasion of their wedding on Saturday night. The bride is the daughter of our well known town and district man, Mr. P. Rapley, of Cargo road, and the wedding was celebrated at the house of the bride's parents, by the Rev. Canon Taylor. The bride who entered the room in her father's arm, was handsome in a pretty dress of cream crepe de chene and customary veil and wreath of orange blossoms, and carried a shower bouquet of marguerites and asparagus fern. She also wore a gold bangle, the gift of the bridegroom. She was attended by Miss Bella Stephens, as bridesmaid, who wore a dress of cream silk and a gold brooch, the gift of the bride-groom. Mr. H. Rapley filled the position of best man. After the wedding a few guests were entertained at breakfast, at which the usual toasts were honored, including "The King," and the 'Soldiers at the Front.' The happy couple left by mail train for the mountains, where the honeymoon will be spent. The bride's going away dress was a navy blue crepe de chene, with black hat. Amongst the presents was a Bible given by Mr. Taylor. | |
