Wedding Announcement - Neville McGrath & Joyce Cameron - 1949
McGRATH—CAMERON.
A very pretty wedding took place at St. Clemment's Church, Marrickville, on July 2, Joyce May, second daughter of Mr. Reuben Cameron, of Leeton, to Neville McGrath, only son of Mr. and Mrs. McGrath' of Wollongong. The bride, who -was given away by her father, looked very pretty dressed in white figured cloquc in old world style. The bride carried a bouquet or white carnations and roses. The bridesmaids were Miss Ruth Ramsay, a friend of the bride and Valerie Taylor, a niece of the bride, both wore identical frocks of cyclamen shot taffeta. Their bouqmets were of cyclamen stocks and begonias and carnations. Mr. Bob Thiel, a friend of the groom, acted as best man.
The reception was held at Marrickville School of Arts where the guests numbered sixty. The honeymoon was spent touring. For travelling the bride wore a London tan costume with accessories to match.
The future home of the happy couple will be at Penrith.
