CAR CRASHES INTO CANAL
Thomas Cameron, Reuben Cameron and a passenger - were admitted to the Leeton District Hospital on Saturday night as a result of an accident when a baby Austin car, owned and driven by Thomas Cameron, ran off the road and crashed into a canal at the gates of the Yanco High School. The car was being driven home towards Leeton and the driver stated that owing to the bad light, he was unable to see the bridge over the canal and went straight into the water. The occupants of the car suffered severe lacerations, bruises and shock. Reuben Cameron and Ethel Smith remained in hospital, but after treatment Thomas Cameron was allowed to go home.
