Ulan Notes
(From Our Correspondent.)
A very pretty wedding was solemnised at the Ulan Church of England on Monday, the contracting parties being Mildred Fanny, fifth daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Henry Hayden, of Ulan, and Mr. Allan Alexander Cameron, of Leeton. The Rev. W. Caldwell, of Gulgong, officiated at the ceremony.
The church was beautifully decorated with vines and chrysanthemums, and a floral arch was erected over the entrance gates. As the bridal party entered the church the song "The Voice that breathed o'er Eden," was sung. The bride looked charming in a handsome dress of white crepe de chine, and carried a shower bouquet of white chrysanthemums with white satin streamers. Miss Edith Hayden, sister of the bride, was a bridesmaid, and wore a dress of white voile over pale blue satin, and a black satin hat. She carried a bouquet of pink flowers. Florrie Hayden, who also acted as a bridesmaid, wore a white voile dress over pale blue satin, and black satin hat. Mr. R. Hayden was best man. The party left the church to the strains of the Wedding March.
The bride's gift to the bridegroom was a handsome pair of gold sleeve links, and the bridegroom's gift to the bride was a gold wristlet watch. The bridesmaids wore gold bangles, the gifts of the bridegroom. The happy couple, who were the recipients of many handsome and useful gifts left later in the evening for Melbourne, where the honeymoon will be spent.
