Best Wishes
When informed by the man who employed her as housekeeper and who was the father or her unborn child that he intended to become reconciled with his wife, Mrs. Yvonne Knight expressed her pleasure at the news and hoped "they would make a 'go' of it."

Mrs. Mildred Fanny Cameron (formerly Hayden), 35, of Emily Street, Leichhardt. who asked for a divorce on the ground of her husband's adultery with Mrs. Knight, said this yesterday in the Divorce Court. Mrs. Cameron married Allan Alexander Cameron, 42, window cleaner, of Leeton, at Ulan (15 miles from Mudgee), in June. 1925. She said that after having separated from her husband in 1935 because of his ill-treatment, she agreed a few months later to discuss a reconciliation. At their meeting he introduced her to his housekeeper, Mrs. Yvonne Knight, who was then expecting a child by him. "When told that my husband and I were making it up and going home together, Mrs. Knight said how pleased she was to hear this, and hoped we would make a 'go' of it," Mrs. Cameron added.
Mrs. Cameron said she subsequently refused to return to her husband when he told her that if she was not prepared
to go to work she was no good to him. Mrs. Knight said Cameron was the father of her child, born in December,
1936. Asked by Mr. Justice Halse Rogers why she appeared in court, Mrs. Knight said Mrs. Cameron had requested her to do so. David Harvey, of Railway Avenue, Stanmore, told the court he had committed adultery with Mrs. Cameron when managing a business for her shortly after she left her husband. He now wished to marry her. A decree nisi was granted, returnable in three months.
