| Excerpt from The Daily Telegraph (Sydney, NSW : 1931 - 1954), Tue 30 Sept 1941, Page 6: She said that after having separated from her husband in 1935 because of his ill treatment, she agreed a few months later to discuss a reconciliation. At their meeting he introduced her to his housekeeper, Mrs. Yvonne Knight, who was then expecting a child by him. "When told that my husband and I were making it up and going home together, Mrs. Knight said how pleased she was to hear this, and hoped we would make a 'go' of it," Mrs. Cameron added. Mrs. Cameron said she subsequently refused to return to her husband when he told her that if she was not prepared to go to work she was no good to him.
